Hi there! Welcome to Ethereal Moony Teas, an online tea shop that seeks to transport readers into the pages of their favorite books.

JAE (they/them)

I'm Jae, the creator of Ethereal Moony Teas! I handle the creation process, tea mixing, packaging and shipping, and in-person vendor events.

As a neurodivergent and disabled person, I've always had a hard time keeping a "traditional" job. I started this company in February 2023 after having been unemployed due to chronic pain issues. I love reading, animals, cooking, and DnD.

Why "Ethereal Moony"? I started going by Moony online because of my love for Harry Potter at the time. It morphed into Ethereal Moony as a way to capture how I felt about myself and my gender identity as a nonbinary individual. When I was trying to come up with a name for my new company, I wanted it to be something personal and meaningful to me. Thus, I adopted Ethereal Moony as my company name because it encapsulates who I am as a person. It stands for my queer joy, and my wish to share my true self through my company.

JULES (they/them)

Hi, I'm Jules! I handle the social media, copywriting, and business support at Ethereal Moony Teas.

A proud supporter of my sibling in all things, I assisted my twin occasionally with their small biz for the first few years, but joined as a full-time collaborator in 2025. As an avid reader and writer, I am passionate about creating an immersive tea-drinking experience and sharing my love of books and tea with our friends and community.

My previous work as a freelance writer and social media manager helps me connect with people online and at in-person events. As a neurodivergent and chronically-ill queer person, I am interested in building a welcoming community with intersectional ideals.

In my spare time, you can catch me reading fantasy novels, watching what's new in film, playing DnD, or catching up with my homies at the local queer scene.
